As the founder and Creative Art Facilitator at Cultivating Conversations in Dialogue, I bring a unique blend of compassion, creativity, and experience to my work. With over two decades of experience as a geriatric nurse, I have had the privilege of caring for many WWII veterans and their spouses, whose stories of resilience and perseverance have deeply influenced my approach to art and life. My journey into creative art facilitation began during the 2008 recession, when I turned to art as a way to connect with myself and others. Since then, I have dedicated myself to helping others explore their own creativity as a means of personal growth and healing.
I completed the Holistic Integrated Creative Art Therapist Program in July 2024, which has equipped me with the tools and techniques to guide others in their creative journeys. My workshops and art offerings are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can express themselves freely and discover new aspects of their creativity. Whether I'm leading a group workshop or working one-on-one, I am committed to fostering a sense of community and connection through art.
In addition to my work as a Creative Art Facilitator, I am also an artist who creates original oils on canvas. My paintings are deeply personal, inspired by the stories and experiences I've encountered throughout my life. I believe that art has the power to heal, inspire, and transform, and I strive to bring these qualities to both my creative facilitation and my artwork. My goal is to help others unlock their creative potential and experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from self-expression.
